Once Upon a Potty: Girl App Reviews

Boring

A boring and slow book. Dont waste your money like I did.

Wish I hadnt bought this.

I did not like this as a book for my daughter and will probably never show it to her. Horrible anatomy descriptions! "a pee pee for wee wee" "a hole for poo poo" really??

I dont recommend this book!

The book was ridiculous. I will not show my daughter this book ever. I read it for myself and was very disappointed in the vocabulary for the vagina "pee pee" and anus "hole". Really, is that what I want my daughter to learn?

Love this story

We used the boy version for our son two years ago and now are happy to use the girl version for our daughter. She loves it!

Painful to watch

We have several other potty books that are much better. This book has too many words and is read really SLOWLY; our daughter lost interest quickly. All I have to say is that "I, Prudences mother, couldnt wait for this book to end".

Ok not worth buying

Wouldnt buy it again.

Waste of $

There must be better videos out there! The toilet looks like a picture for pouring water and they use the words wee-wee instead of pee-pee. For us I think it may be more confusing instead of helpful. I think the song may be too long as well. Sorry, I dont have anything good to say.

A classic from our daughters

Beautiful artwork, soothing narration and full of surprising sounds as we tap on the pictures. Nicely done.

Just like I remembered

My little brother had the boy version when we were young. I bought this for my daughter. :)

Great update to a classic

My toilet training grandchild found this even more fun than the book. The book was certainly a hit with her, but the options of playing with the iPad version made it more interesting. The book works well as a substitute when her daddy is using the iPad. Shes not allowed to put the iPad in her mouth, although shes tried. Of course the latest generation of kids is becoming tech-savy at an ever earlier age. Shes almost three and can boot a computer and launch a browser. The iPad version is a real treat for her. I highly recommend it to any parent who has a child that has latched on to high tech at an early age. Maybe its also a way to get a child interested in high tech formats. Parental supervision is necessary to protect your iPad. If theres any oral testing left in the development of the child, the book reads well and evidently tastes good too. The iPad app seems magical to a nearly three year old. She sometimes screams for it; literally.

A true classic!

This app is so sweet! A classic brought to life - we have been tried and true fans of Once Upon a Potty and love that its available now as an app! You will love this!!!

Mandmsmom

Now we can travel with our favorite potty video. Both my kids love this. Its a classic! I have read the reviews and although us adults may find it cheesy and "dumb" one thing stands true. The kiddos love it!

Love it!

My daughter loves this! She has the video, the hardcover book and now this app. The night I got it was the first night she went on the potty. With her being almost three, we were starting to think it might never happen!! Thanks Prudence and her Mommy!

Very soothing!

I had this book as a little girl, and was so pleased to see this app! I couldnt wait to share it with my daughter who is potty training now. After a crying fit on the potty refusing to poo, I turned this app on for her. She immediately stopped crying and was back to being cooperative:) This book is a classic for a reason!

Great music on the potty

My daughter likes to "watch" the book while she sits on the potty. I think it inspires her to sit on it more often. Great music too.

Totally worth it

The lulling soft cadence, colors and illustrations are wonderfully appealing and kindly persuasive. The interactive images also allowed my children to "own" the concept and remain engaged. Highly recommended.

Cute!

Very cute and kid friendly app. My toddler enjoyed it.

Awesome App!

My 19 month old loves it and so do I! It made potty training fun. :)

Hmm...

Its okay. Kind of unusual. The potty song is very long. I would have liked it more with fewer words that maybe my 2 year old could have actually learned. I dont mean to give it a poor rating, Im just not too crazy about the book.

Potty Girl

This is my daughter favorite app!
